About Us
History and Vision
Eagle’s Nest Baptist Ministries is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation resulting from the longstanding burden in the hearts of Jonathan and Chrissa Edwards.
Because they have seen the need to provide a training ground for future male leaders in churches and Christian homes, and because they have seen a high burnout rate among Christian workers, the Edwards’ have had a desire to make a place where these needs can be addressed. Others share the burden and are preparing to help in the ministry once it is up and running.

“As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings.”
Deuteronomy 32:11
Philosophy
Realizing that the ultimate wisdom of the ages and beyond is contained in God’s Word the Bible, we will always endeavor to approach everything from a biblical perspective.
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him as of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” (James 1:5) “God’s wisdom above human reason” will always be our motto.
About the Edwards
Jonathan and Chrissa Edwards are 33-year veteran missionaries under Northwest Baptist Missions, and have been used to plant three independent Baptist churches in the state of Utah. In 1994 they moved to the very rural town of Marysvale, Utah, where God richly blessed them with Three Springs Ranch. A year later the Edwards were able to found Marysvale Baptist Church, converting the only bar in town into a nice church facility. They have also been active in providing horses for Camp Utibaca (Utah Independent Baptist Camp).
